If you’re staying away from this year’s convention due to a tight budget, keep in mind that NCDVD maintains a reserve fund just for tuition assistance.

The Vocation Directors’ Assistance Fund will underwrite certain costs for members who desire to attend NCDVD-sponsored educational activities.

“Our fund can provide a vocation director with nearly $500 in grants to attend this year’s Convention and pre-Convention workshops,” said Steven Covington, Executive Director of NCDVD.

“Travel and lodging costs are the responsibility of the attendee,” he continued, “but, we’ve found that local Catholic service clubs often are happy to make up those cost differences once they learn that NCDVD has already stepped up to the plate with a grant.”
