Immaculate Conception Retreat Center
Located in the heart of Long Island’s Gold Coast, the Immaculate Conception Retreat Center sits on over 200+ acres of waterfront land in the Diocese of Rockville Centre. The center is the former Seminary of the Immaculate Conception, which was founded in 1930 under the leadership of Bishop Thomas Edmund Molloy, Bishop of Brooklyn. (The Diocese of Rockville Centre was not founded until 1958.)
Just a short drive from our front gates you’ll find the beautiful NYS Caumsett Historical Park and Reserve and plenty of other historical homes and landmarks such as the Vanderbilt Museum and Sagamore Hill, former home of President Teddy Roosevelt and the Plating Fields Arboretum. Arriving by Car Service:
If you are arriving by Uber or Cab please use the Main Entrance (which is the 2nd entrance off West Neck Road) and enter the building using the Main Doors.
Parking:
If you are arriving with your own car, you will find parking in our Visitor Lot, (which is the 1st entrance off West Neck Road) You may enter into the main driveway to Check-in at the Retreat Center, drop your bags and then park your car in the Visitor Lot.
How do I book accommodations at the Retreat Center?
Your convention registration includes accommodations. Please refer to packages for Check-in and check-out dates. Any questions please contact us at events@ncdvd.org
What are the accommodations like at the Retreat Center?
Guest rooms are simple Seminary style rooms with one twin bed, desk and dresser. Rooms include a private bathroom with Shower and linens.
Upgrade to a Larger Room: There is an extremely limited number of rooms which offer one Queen or one Double bed. There is an additional $50 per night fee for these rooms. If you are interested in upgrading to the larger room please contact us at the National Office.
NOTE: Toiletries and Hair Dryers are NOT included.
Can I book additional nights before/after the convention?
If you are interested in arriving early, or staying later than the package you have chosen the rate will be $145 per night. You will need to contact Rosemary Sullivan at executive@ncdvd.org to make the reservation.
