Parking at the Retreat Center
When you first arrive you may park your car in the traffic circle to check in and register.
Once you have your room assignment please move your car to the Visitor Parking lot.
What Airport do I fly into? We recommend that you fly into either John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) or Islip MacArthur Airport (ISP). If those two do not work for you, we then recommend LaGuardia Airport (LGA) but strongly recommend against Newark (EWR) as it will add an additional 2 hours to your travel time.
How do I make my way from the John F. Kennedy Airport (JFK) to the Retreat Center by train?
If you’re coming from JFK the best option is to take the Long Island Railroad, also known as the LIRR.
To do this you can take an AIRTRAIN from any terminal in JFK to the Jamaica Train Station. From there you take the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) Huntington Line to Huntington OR the Port Jefferson Line to Cold Spring Harbor.
Both LIRR trains should take approximately 45 minutes. From there you can take an Uber or cab and it’s a 10-15 minute ride to the conference center from either train station.

How do I make my way from the Islip MacArthur Airport (ISP) to the Retreat Center by train?
If coming from ISP airport please note that it will be about a 30/40 minute drive. You can take a taxi/Uber or a rental car station is available at the airport.
How do I make my way from the LGA (LaGuardia) airport to the Retreat Center by train?
From the Baggage claim area, follow the signs for the LaGuardia Link.
Bus: Board the Q70-SBS (LaGuardia Link) at Terminal B or C. This bus is free and runs 24/7. Buses typically arrive every 6 – 10 minutes.
Fare: The Q70 is free; the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) ticket requires a separate purchase via theTrainTime appor station kiosks. YOU MUST PURCHASE THE TICKET PRIOR TO BOARDING THE TRAIN.
Transfer: Get off at the 61 St/Roosevelt Ave stop in Woodside.
LIRR Station: Walk to the Woodside LIRR station on Roosevelt Avenue.
From there you take the Huntington Line to Huntington OR the Port Jefferson Line to Cold Spring Harbor.
